Alpha Training Camp

This is the idea I told you about, the title says all. Maybe it doesn't, but the idea makes you excited, the thrill of the unknown... Anyways, this idea is so (painfully) member, that I'm going to also include a nonmember version. So, let's go ahead and let Daredevil Arcticbrave take the spotlight, otherwise known as Juno, the arctic wolf alpha.

Greetings Jammers, Princess Arcticspirit sent you, did she not?

You looks cold, come up close to the fire. I was told you wanted to train young jammers to become alphas. That is hard work, my friend, and it will take some commitment. Some myths spread around that only members can do great things. Nay, both can be great or foul, it depends on the jammer. Ah, Princess Spirit sent you with a sealed letter for me. Ah, some things that will help you. Pictures and a list of good items/dens for the camp. I highly approve!

1. Plants of all shapes and sizes, Treetop Gardens is your friend (a shop filled with plants in Sarepia Forest).

2. Adventure Items, Cosmo's Plants, Fire drums, Lava and Portal crystals, Bunny Statue, Stone Circle.

3. Tiki Torches.

4. Towels, pillows, small couches and coffee tables. A jammer with a delightful blog, Mister Chunkybuddy had a tip for a raised bed, in the pictures are some 'sleeping bags', raised beds, etc.

5. The Ocean Adventure Base Camp music if your member, costing a single diamond from the Diamond Shop, its is truly spectacular, magical and adventurous.

6. For members: Restaurant, Crystal Palace and Volcano den.

7. For nonmembers, two small houses, one filled with plants and one alpha-like filled with adventure items, etc.

8. Animal Banners of all kinds.

7. Spiderweb and/or Cosmo's Hammock. The latter is from the adventure Meet Cosmo as a prize, the former is a prize from the cobra hunt interactive Brady Barr video series.

6. Sky, Starry Walls (basically a night sky) and Grass Carpet, the former is nonmember and the rest is member.

Below are some pictures taken by Liza's camera, nonmembers are recommended to have two dens, and members three.

I'll tell you why you would want several dens, in story form.

A armor-covered wolf called in Jamaa Township.
''Alpha training camp in my den, discover your destiny!'' her low, beautiful voice sounded over the buzz of the township, and many jammers were intrigued and went to her den. When the doorbell rang ten times she went to her den, and saw the jammers there.
''Greetings young'uns, I am Juno, the arctic wolf alpha.'' she spoke and many jammers turned and listened, or left.
''I'm sure many of you came through much to be here, some of you perhaps were chased by phantoms, like Sir Gilbert when he was a cub.'' a few jammers chuckled, no, they didn't, but they loved to here about an alpha.
''I am here to train you, so you too can become shamans, and maybe even step up to be alphas. The current Alphas and Shamans are fighting the phantoms, who grow steadily strong, so we need new ones, jammer ones, to help the jammers and make peace.'' only five remained, the other half left of boredom.
''Rest and eat, and when you are ready we shall begin your training!'' the jammers did as she instructed, and said they were ready. Juno changed the den to a restaurant, remodeled with plants and rather impressive. She took the jammers through a course over tables, jumping, climbing, and swimming. When they were done she took them to a blue fire drum.
''This test is hard on some, but its very important. I myself have completed it. You must jump into the fire drum!'' the jammers were hesitant, but the courageous went first, and the rest followed. One jammer, very much not alpha type, refused to do it.
"My den is so much better then yours!'' he mocked, and Juno smiled to herself. She herself jumped into the fire drum, and the den changed. There was a shining crystal palace, with the music of the Ocean Adventure Base Camp, and alphas lining the entrance. The previous mocker, impressed, quickly disappeared upon laying eyes on it. Ooohs and Aaas came from the jammers.
''Explore this palace, and then the REAL training will begin.'' the jammers explored, chose beds, and ate. Juno called them together, and told them their first course. She gave them each a sword, and fought each of them. Many of the jammers were strong, but Juno overpowered them quickly, but they got better. The next lesson was archery, which the jammers excelled at, many having bows of their own. Swimming came next, and then fight-falling. An eagle friend of Juno's picked each jammer up, and dropped them, and fought them in mid-air. Juno told them to roll when they landed, so each landed safely. The jammers ate and slept, and the following morning they had to climb a mountain, listened to the Jamaa legends around a blue fire drum and then the hardest course yet: five live baby phantoms were released, and they outsmarted it, and trapped it. Juno was very pleased.
''All of you have done well, because of that, there is a few who want to meet you.'' she walked away, and Peck, the bunny alpha, in a beret and tie-dye t-shirt, looked them over.
''You are certainly alpha-type, because of it, you shall meet MIRA!'' Peck smiled, tipped her hat, and then hopped away. Mira came, and the jammers gasped.
''I've been watching, and all of you have done well. Flora, you are very strong, and other jammers need you. You shall be the secondary bunny shaman, and help the jammers through their adventures. Fauna, you are very kind and your task as a secondary fox shaman is to root out scammers and stop bullying. Make peace among jammers. Rosy, you, last but not least, shall be the secondary koala shaman, and you will spread Mira's name, and the legends. Work with Fauna to help bring peace, and help the jammers remember their culture.'' the jammers, only three remaining, nodded and felt solemm. Mira smiled.
''Goodbye Jammers, my spirit will always be in the Jamaa Township statue, and I can hear you. Visit me, and never forget your shamans, and who I and Juno am.'' she flew away, and Juno returned.
''Well, Jammers. It has been my personal pleasure training you, and now it is time to find your destiny. Flora, you have plant powers that you yourself discovered use them well in helping with adventures, Fauna, use your gift of fire to bring peace, not fear, and Rosy, your light shall be spread far, use it well.'' The jammers nodded, and Juno continued.
''GO, and be brave, be mighty, BE SHAMANS! Farewell, and do well in all your adventures.'' she danced a few steps, and then locked the den, wondering what the jammers would do as new shamans.

You also need a backstory, such as where you were born, why you became an alpha or alpha trainer (like: refused alpha, for greater calling: alpha training), also, mentioning alphas like amelia, liza, sigurd, sir gilbert, etc.

Have fun Jammers

New Idea!

We have 510 views, thank you all viewers! In honor of that, tomorrow I shall post perhaps one of my MOST creative ideas, hint: It has to do with alphas, and Daredevil Arcticbrave, the wolf thats dancing against the moon in my animal picture.

I updated my animal pic, and banner, to include the headdress (the banner is centered on the play wild party, so Princess Arcticspirit shares the spotlight with other jammers).

I'm so excited to show you guys the new idea tomorrow, the update is coming to, maybe I'll get some fresh inspiration from that!

Have a good day jammers,

Be Nice :3

I now have a new look: my purple is lavender, and I wear a rare headdress!

A really, really, super, douper nice jammer named Akirk20 just gave it to me in a giveaway, I told her it was my dream item and then..

She said in the jamagram ''Then your dream has come true''.

I am speechless.

And then happy.

I'm not super happy, it simply is pixels and thats what this game is. But some bunch of pixels I really wanted came, and it makes me happy, and i'm touched, super touched, by her generosity. An act of kindness is worth a lot, even if its small, even if its pixels, and can make someone really happy.

Have a rare you don't need?

It makes you happy too.

Find someone who wants a colored item, and you have it?

Its worth it.

That is truly how to have a good time: be kind!

Good day!

New Pages!

Hey jammers,

Since I had no posting ideas today, I decided to do a mini-project I was planning to do for a while! The pages are off the Lands of Jamaa, with a picture of each land, and have certain things, like Deep Blue is a joke page to avoid feeling BLUE.

So, I'll add a few more lands here and there as time goes on, and whenever I edit the pages, say, add a new joke or scam to watch out for in Temple of Zios, i'll say so in my post, at the bottom.

Have fun with the new pages!

P.S. My, this blog is actually looking like a normal blog now!

P.P.S A super secret, really, really, cool idea will be revealed on 550 views! Tell your buddies to look at this blog often if you want to see it!

Service Dog Training

Hey jammers,

This is how to train guide dogs, I know, its weird. These dogs can be given to "blind" jammers, send them out to find and rescue jammers and provide therapy. These dogs take training, I use an agency with a big bed, agility course, and food and water place. The dogs are also given medical checks, and are given training such as socializing them in Jamaa Township and Pillow Room or you can tell them to lead you around with your eyes closed.

1. For decoration, add any wolf statues or plushies, a lot of pillows can make a bed, and a pet cabin is a good dog house. Put down several bowls or a trough for food and water, and then tables/treehouses/and any things to jump, climb or swim for agility.

2. Invite the dogs, and then send them to bed, in the morning pretend to give them a check-up to see if they will do well.

3. Buddy them all (I had a duplicate account since my list is full buddy them). Take them for a walk and socialize them.

4. Watch them all in their daily activities and according to their breed, how they act etc. to determain if they are a Therapy Dog, Guide dog or 'rescue' dog (saving lives) or a baby sitter.

5. Give them special training for each and then sort them into their jobs.

6. Let them go into the Pillow Room, or set them up with their owners.

Comic

Hey jammers,

Sorry that I couldn't post today, busy busy and for the most part I couldn't think of anything. Last night I was thinking about a blog post.

When your really bored, its fun to pretend to go about your 'animal jam life', go to school, eat dinner with your "parents", (not, not adoption, PLUSHIES! :D), this comic I made sort of demonstrates that. Comics are also fun to do, with Google Drive you can make talking bubbles, put pictures together, etc. Sorry, this comic isn't all the same size.

                                                                        The Aquarium

(The other animals, except a few extra in the theater were played by me, my duplicates!)
(Swimming with Dolphins clip, its beautiful, you should see it)
(Oops, forgot to capitalize "I")

Animal Jam School Teachers Manual

First of all, H-A-P-P-Y B-I-R-T-H-D-A-Y A-N-I-M-A-L J-A-M!!! Four years and 20 million jammers, quite an accomplishment, though i expect no less of Animal Jam. This post is a simple, humble teachers guide for your school.

Class Ideas:

Fashion Class: Teach them about what colors match and what clothes to wear for a particular situation.

Math Class: Quiz them subtraction, multiplication and addition. Say basic things such as
''Addition is adding something to something, like "I have one mango, and I add one more mango. Now i have two mangos!''. For Multiplacation say ''You know if you add two plus two plus two, its six but an easier way to do it is three two times, or two three times (they mean the same). It sounds something like: Two times Three is six!''. Quiz them simple times, and for 'homework' ask them to count the amount of say, flowers in Temple of Zios using multiplication.

English: Tell them basic grammer including:

Periods are used at the end of a sentence.

Each sentence starts with a capital letter and names, not ''chandelier'' but ''Bob the chandelier'', ''Bob'' would be capitalized.

Each sentance sounds like ''I have a pig named Ruthie.'' the Subject is the pig, or Ruthie it doesn't sound like ''Named Ruthie''.

If you use ''i'' referring to yourself like ''I walked my dog.'' it is capitalized. 'I's aren't capitalized like ''in my house''.

For spelling in an English class, then teach them how to spell things like ''Cat'' and then move onto ''Something'' then ''Capitalized''. Simply state how to spell something, and if a pupil misspells a sentence then state the correct spelling.

Art: Art is pretty simple, you can have them pretend to make crafts, or you can teach them about the 'famous artist' Peck. Make sure you have plenty of Field Trips to the Art Studio,

History: Simple! Mister Chunkybuddy's blog has lots of made-up stories of Jamaa history, but be sure to tell them the Creation Legend but also teach them about Clark Stacey, creator of Smart Bomb and the Beta Days.

General Student Behavior:

This section of the 'manual' talks about how to deal with Student Behavior, punishments, 'good student', 'bad student', how to avoid favoritism and of course: Class President.

You always need to set a rules, some example ones are:

Rule Number 1. Do what the teacher tells you.

Rule Number 2. Treat other how you want to be treated.

Rule Number 3. No talking when the teacher is talking.

Rule Number 4. Have fun!

(The last rule is important to lighten up the atmosphere of a classroom).

Now, bad student behavior would be:

1. Pushing other people on the playground.

2. Talking in class.

3. Being rude (thats means both being sassy and ignoring) to the teacher or anyone.

4. Breaking any rules (obviously).

5. Stealing ANYTHING.

6. Not picking up after themselves (be VERY gentle about this, if they keep on going as bad as ever be only a little harsher.)

7. Bullying.

Punishments would be:

1. Sitting in a corner

2. They have their mouth in 'time out' (they can't talk) until the teacher says they can speak.

3. Extra homework

4. Staying in late/or staying in the classroom and (optional) helping the teacher.

5. They don't get to go on said field trip (thats a VERY harsh one, so be very, very, very, very, careful with that one).

Don't physically (or, since its a game, PRETEND to) slap or hurt any of your students.

Good Behavior would be:

1. Waiting for their turn.

2. Picking up after the other students.

3. Following the rules, being quiet when they need too, being nice etc.

4. Listening in class.

Good Behavior (including good grades) should be rewarded, here is an example list:

1. A big, BIG reward is choosing the next field trip. Only do it to VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, outstanding students, not 'teacher's pets'.

2. A sticker, a very small reward.

3. Something from the gift shop of the next field trip, like their own flag from the flag shop or whatever, you can trade for necklace, send it, or if they want you can place it by their desk.

4. A personalized desk, like a different color of books/actual desk/chair/table/plushies or any small something to go by it/a flower pot or fan on it.

5. A compliment, and a thank-you, they might like that.

How to avoid favoritism:

While liking a particular student is okay, don't go around giving the student better grades then you normally would, extra privileges and lots of fame, but if the student is a really good student then said rewards is good, but not special attention.

1. Be sure not to tell anyone (even the student) you like him/her in particular, but if you say something like 'your one of my best students' not 'your THE best student' then its alright.

2. Don't let the student break any of the rules WHATSOEVER, and don't hold back any punishment then you normally would would if ANY student broke that rule.

3. Be sure to compliment all your students, tutor them if you must and help them out on anything. If there is a suggestion for anything, then consider it fairly.

Class Presidents:

Something that few Jamaasian Schools have is a Class President. In Jamaa at least, the Class President would have a bit more power to improve things, such as if they went on a campaign for say, a larger lunchroom they could take student votes, and even with the teacher's guidance go out in Jamaa Township and ask for donations for such and such. Class President is a VERY fun role to have, and they can sort of be the 'teachers pet' sometimes.

1. Announce that you now are taking Jam-a-Gram votes for a Class President and that their is one vote per member. Explain what a Class President is, and also remind the class that it isn't any more special then everyone else, its just a duty that takes responsibility but can be very rewarding. Ask all students that want to campaign for a class president come forward, and then tell them they have a set amount of time to have a mini-speech and say, send jammers cool stuff or trade better items for a necklace. Once that set amount of time is up, then explain that jammers can vote.

2. Call the candidates over and tell all of them to play fair, no bribery and not to be a sore loser or a prideful winner. Also tell them what makes a good campaign, an example would be "Something that pleases the students, and is completely fair. Be sure to treat members and nonmembers alike equally, and for any member candidates please don't send any items to other members, just trade them."

3. Sit back, relax and watch them campaign. A good campaigning time would be the day after you announce in between classes. Make sure EVERYONE follows the campaigning rules above.

3. When the voting comes, tell jammers which candidate means this message such as ''Fuzzy Cutegirl is 'Animal Jam Rocks', Prince Snowyninja is ''Seals are cool!'' or make each candidate a card such as "Fuzzy Cutegirl is Cute as a Bunny, Prince Snowyninja is Cool as an Arctic Wolf". Only count one jamagram from each person, and make sure they are ALL your class or else duplicates or buddies would vote for said person. Announce when everyone is voted and the voting time is ended.

4. Don't state the winner until about five minutes after the voting stops, and tell each candidate to make peace among themselves and make a winning speech in advance but also brace themselves for losing.

5. State the winner, and have them come up and make their winners thank-you speech. When he/she is done then you can tell him/her that changes to the class can start being made and the president needs to get donations and run campaigns for votes for a change in atmosphere.

Student Council:

The class president is at the head of the student council, but the council itself is for voting, settling disputes and they are like Congress: when the president sends the idea they choose to approve it or not and make a fair decision among themselves. When they are done voting, the decision is sent to the teacher and you can add the change. Make sure to approve the idea before the president even starts campaigning, but don't be biased. Council members are voted by students as well, but they don't campaign.

End of the school year:

You can choose to make your school as long as you want, but follow the traditional holiday, and winter/spring breaks and the golden school year rule: No jammers schools in Summer ever! :-)

I hope you enjoyed my teacher's guide, keep jamming!

-Suzi00

P.S. Did you know there are super cool NEW NEW NEW NEW SHAMAN/ALPHA STATUES FOR DIAMOND SHOP ANIMALS AT THE ANIMAL JAM BIRTHDAY PARTY! THEY INCLUDE ANIMALS SUCH AS JUNO THE ARCTIC WOLF ALPHA, HURRAH! I might add more to this manual.

Den Idea: School

Hey jammers,

I made a school, but I'm going to report how things went later in a mini-post. First off, i want to show you a cool glitch that i also sent to Animal Jam Spirit.

Basically, the wolf isn't frozen, but if you stop walking around then its frozen. That particular area of Jamaa Township for some reason made all the wolves that walked there freeze, as well as a section of my den. I tried it with other animals and only the normal, nonmember wolf was affected.

Now, onto the School. My first day of school started today so i think this fits today's post. In honor of school (yes, it needs to be honored), i'll post an educational or random, school related fact every post. Now, get out your textbooks class and turn to page three of Animal Jam Good Times and read the eleventh(?) post there. I would enjoy school very much if reading this (no, not a narcissist) blog or any other AJ blog was in my textbook.

Step 1. Set up your den: in the outside items like the you might want to include a small library, a playground with a monkey jungle gym and of course, a chalkboard with rows of school desks or any chair with a table. If you want to make a boarding school then be sure to add several 'rooms' of Shoji Screens and Mister Chunkybuddy's bed: A blue couch on top of a coffee table of the same color with a pillow on it. Books and plushies are good additions to a room, as well as a Cleverclaw's Dresser.

Step 2. Call your people: Be sure to state the grade level, the student slots, your username, and any other information.

3. Welcome your class: Give your class a warm welcome and show them around. Make sure you tell them all about who the teacher(s) are, and make them comfortable.

4. When they are comfortable, start the first class: Be sure to make up a schedule of when each class is, recess and lunch (you can move some furniture and place any food items with tables or 'food' on the desks, and remove them when the lunch period is done). Introdouce the subject, and then go into it. Make sure each class is short, and its important NOT to have anything to complicated, but its also a bonus if your pupils learn something IRL.

5. Have Recess: For a short period of time they can be free, playing around or whatever. You can organize games (tag, hide and seek) or have them form them among themselves. Keep your eyes peeled (ouch!) for bullying. Call them in when they are done, and you might want to make them stand in a line. Any bullies or slow-to-obey students go in 'timeout'.

6. Field Trips: Your class is going to need field trips if it really is fun, a list of field trips are:

  1.  Tierneys Aquarium: Have them 'pretend' to use the touch pool, a few of the land/sea animals can dive into Kani Cove with supervision and you can point out fish and say a few facts about them (do your research teacher!). Watch a movie at the end in Tierney's Theater.
  2. Brady's Lab: Teach them how to do the Rainbow Potion (three of every color and click the flame three times, other blogs have guides to that) and watch a movie.
  3. Conservation Museum: It teaches itself with its cool facts and coloring pages. The plushie machine and gift shop is a +
  4. Flag Shop: Its really cool to teach your class facts about a specific country including: a few words of the language, a dish from them, and then you can go to the Flag Shop to buy the flag
  5. Medical Center: Empty Medical Center preferred because all kinds of sick animals can be in there, show them the Grey Wolf exhibit and the equipment.

(I might add more to this post!)
